Our first exclusive single cask rye whiskey from the WhistlePig Library Series of cask bottlings. The first of our 5-part library series from the multi award winning Vermont based company. The late Dave Pickerell, a true whiskey icon, was responsible for selecting barrels of the highest quality to exemplify WhistlePig’s devotion to only the best in whiskey maturation. Outside of the famous Boss Hogg series, nothing of this quality in a single cask bottling has ever been seen from WhistlePig. Soft caramel, toffee and molasses on the nose with mint adding to a truly distinctive flavour. The palate is toffee apples with cinnamon and subtle mint. The finish is long with smooth honey and candied red fruit.
